Buffalo Cauliflower Wings
During this quarentine I have used this time to become better at cooking and baking. I have done a lot of appetizer style dishes, and these buffalo cauliflower wings are definitely one of my favouritesπ.
Ingredients:
β 1 egg
β 1/2 cup flour
β 1/2 tsp salt
β 1 tsp of garlic powder
β 1 cauliflower head (this usually gets you a small, full bowl of cauliflower wings, so if you are having some people over after this quarantine Iβd suggest buying two cauliflower heads, and just doubling up on all the ingredients)
β 1/2 cup of Franks Buffalo Sauce
β Ranch sauce to dip them in after they are ready!
What you need:
β baking sheet
β parchment paper
β 2 large freezer bags
β tongs (if you have some, if not no worries)
β measuring cup (I always use this for mixing)
β fork for whisking
β mixing bowl
Instructions:
β Wash and cut/break cauliflower. I like to do them in different sizes
β Break egg in cup and whisk
β Add washed, cut cauliflower to large plastic freezer bag
β Add egg in bag and shake until cauliflower is coated
β In mixing bowl, add flour, salt, garlic powder and mix all of them together
β Once mixed, add those ingredients into the bag with the cauliflower and egg.
β Shake until cauliflower is evenly coated
β Line baking sheet with parchment paper
β Place cauliflower on baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes (or until lightly brown)
β Take out and let cool for 5 minutes
β Put cauliflower in new large plastic freezer bag and add 1/2 cup of Franks Buffalo sauce
β Shake until cauliflower is evenly coated
β Place back on baking sheet and broil for 10 minutes (if youβd like crispier, you can go a bit longer, just keep an eye on them)
β Enjoy while hot! Donβt forget to have a bowl of your favourite dip to dip them in!
Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do! If you try it out, donβt forget to tag me in it! @bycourtneytodd
