Your Carry-On Essentials

With years of travelling I finally have perfected packing my carry-on bag! I have experimented with using purses, mini suit cases, and backpacks. To this day, the most successful travel bag I’ve used is my Lulu Lemon back pack. I find it super easy to fit in all my essentials, and the size always fits well underneath plane seats. Its super easy to take things out during the flight, unlike the struggle of using a mini suit case and always having to unzip the whole thing to just take one, small item out. I’ve broken down what I pack into my bag with the following categories:

Refresh, Refuel, Entertain, Relax + the Don’t Forgets!!

Refresh:

  • Travel size toothpaste and toothbrush

  • Travel size mouth wash

  • Facial wipes, travel wipes (to wipe down your seat + everything around you) + flushable wipes

  • Face moisturizer (travel size)

  • Chapstick

  • Hair brush

  • Hand sanitizer

  • Deodorant

  • Panty liners

  • Advil

Refuel:

  • Snacks

  • Reusable water bottle. As you know at security, you usually have to dump or throw out your water, but if you bring a reusable one you will be able to fill it right back up before your flight!

Entertain:

  • Portable charger

  • Phone

  • Books/iPad for reading

  • Laptop

  • Chargers (laptop and phone)

  • Earphones

  • Go pro + go pro accessories

  • Outlets for country + layover you are going to

Relax:

  • Inflatable head rest. The inflatable ones are key, because it takes up no room to bring, and only takes a few seconds to blow up and deflate!

  • Eye mask

  • Blanket (if not already provided on a long flight)

DON’T FORGET:

I have a super cute travel document organizer that I got from Indigo, not too long ago! While travelling, I fill it with:

  • Money in currency of final destination AND money in the currency of where your layovers will be.

  • Credit cards + cash

  • Travel insurance

  • Passport

Hope this all helps, + if I’m forgetting anything, please message me what your essentials in your carry on are!
