Ramada Jackson Point Resort
I love to travel.
Anywhere, everywhere, I want to explore the entire world.

Obviously, with COVID-19, it makes it very challenging to do that.
At least for the rest of 2020.
Considering we currently can’t travel outside of Canada, I made it a goal to visit new places and travel within Canada and Ontario.
John and I started working towards this goal when we travelled to Banff in August. Banff was amazing, and I would recommend going to anyone and everyone.
Now, I’m looking for experiences and new places to visit within Ontario. With all the stress in our lives right now, I was looking for something quiet, accommodating and relaxing.
Then I found Ramada Jackson Point Resort.
This cottage style resort is approximately a 3 hour drive from Niagara Falls. I made this trip a girls night by going with one of my best friends, Arden.

Let me tell you this now, if you are looking to be completely relaxed and to have a break from reality one night is not enough. This resort is right on the water, and is one of the most quiet places I have ever been to.
Similar to other resorts and hotels, Ramada Jackson Point Resort has their check in at 3pm.
I arrived shortly after that, and spent my time alone (before Arden arrived) at the dock snuggled up in one of the Muskoka chairs reading my book (if you’re looking to relax, I recommend bringing your own blanket for the ultimate coziness and relaxation.)
When Arden arrived, we unpacked in our hotel room and then made our way to LakeView Restaurant (restaurant is on sight) for dinner. LakeView Restaurant is a full service bar and restaurant, and has a gorgeous patio. All of these elements made for a great dining experience.
After our dinner, we took a self guided tour around the hotel where we noticed the spa, gym, and a couple banquet rooms for the opportunity to host events and weddings. To ensure you get a spa appointment at GloSpa, make a reservation before your visit.
After we explored the hotel, Arden and I got a bottle of wine, changed into our PJs , got our blankets and made our way down to the dock and the Muskoka chairs. Since we went to the hotel in the off season (September) we were the only ones at the dock and we were able to enjoy the gorgeous night, views, wine and each others company.
If you are looking for a short, close getaway Ramada Jackson Point is a great option to go to relax and unwind.
