Hola Churros!

If you live in the Niagara Region and have a sweet tooth this article is for you.

A few weeks ago, I didn’t even know Hola Churros existed. 

So, after recently finding Hola Churros on Instagram it made my day that much better.

Discovering that they specialize in hand crafted, fresh Churro Loops, and learning that their shop is located in Niagara Falls on Clifton Hill, I knew it would be a fun place to go for an afternoon girls trip. 

Considering parking is crazy on the strip, we parked off site and walked to the shop. The best advice I can give on directions, is to look for the big ferris wheel and go there. Right across the street from the ferris wheel is where you will find Hola Churros.

When we got there, we discovered that all Churros are Vegan and that there are nine different Churro flavours you can chose from. These flavours consist of:

• Plain

• Chocolate Walnuts

• White Chocolate Oreo

• Crème Brûlée

• Chocolate Coconuts

• Toasted Marshmallow

• Strawberry Sprinkles

• Matcha Fruity Pebbles

If none of these flavours appeal to you, Hola Churro has also created a Create Your Own Option. This way you get to pick whatever toppings, and glaze you want. 

Since I have a peanut and nut allergy, I wasn’t able to chose one of the flavours above, so I went with the Create Your Own Option.

As I mentioned earlier, I have a huge sweet tooth. So even though we were already getting sweet and tasty Churros, when I saw there is an option to make a Churro Sundae this is the option I went with.

My choice was the Churro Sundae with chocolate sauce, and my friend got the caramel Churro Sundae with chocolate sauce.

The Churro Sundaes are delicious and could not have been made better. Dipping the warm churro into the cold ice cream sundae was a mouthwatering combination of perfection.
